Richard Müller, born on September 6, 1961 in Hlohovec, Czechoslovakia, is a singer, musician, and composer. He began his career as a music journalist while studying drama and screenwriting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. His first song, "Radio", was recorded with Pavel Daněk's band Burčiak. Müller then formed Banket, releasing three studio albums: Bioelektrovízia (1986), Druhá doba?! (1988), and Vpred? (1990). In the early 1990s, he launched a solo career with the album Neuč vtáka lietať (1992) and collaborated extensively with pianist Jaroslav Filip until Filip's death in 2000. Müller has received multiple awards, including nine Aurel Awards and four Grand Prix Radio.
