Lucie Bílá is a prominent Czech mezzo-soprano who began her musical career performing with rock groups such as Rock-Automat and Arakain. Discovered by producer Petr Hannig, she released her debut single "Neposlušné tenisky" in 1985, followed by a self-titled debut album in 1986. Her discography features major works such as Missariel (1992), Hvězdy jako hvězdy (1998), Jampadampa (2003), and the 2009 live recording Duety na Bílo. Renowned for her vocal versatility, she has achieved significant commercial success, with over one million records sold. Bílá has been awarded the prestigious Český slavík a record 21 times, including numerous "Absolute Nightingale" honors.
