Cadillac Blindside was a punk rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Formed in 1997, the group consisted of Zachary Zrust on vocals and guitar, James Russell on vocals and guitar, Trent Raygor on bass, and Rebecca Hanten on drums. Their early releases included the Bubblecore cassette demo and the single, "Rumors Scandals and Burning Bridges" in 1998. Cadillac Blindside signed with Fueled by Ramen and released their debut album, Read the Book Seen the Movie, in 2000. Their subsequent EP, The Allegory of Death and Fame, was released in 2001. In 2002, they released their most successful record, These Liquid Lungs, before disbanding in July of the same year. Following the breakup, members went on to form other bands, such as Zrust with Fuel The Fire, Russell and Hanten with The Cardinal Sin, and Raygor with Monarques. In 2016, Cadillac Blindside reunited to support Motion City Soundtrack on their farewell tour.
