Roland Becker, born on July 1, 1957, in Auray, France, is a French musician. His musical journey began at age nine when he joined the Kevrenn Alré bagad, playing the bombard, a traditional Breton instrument. By 1974, Becker was directing the bombarde section of the group and arranging their repertoire. In 1982, he released his debut album Fallaen. Subsequent albums include Gavr'inis (1991), Musiques Traditionnelles en Bretagne Morbihannaise (1993), and Er Roué Stevan (2000). He has also authored several books on Breton music and culture.
