Christine “Tini” Kainrath is an Austrian soul and jazz singer and actress born on June 6, 1968, in Vienna. She established a career as a member of the Hallucination Company between 1988 and 1995. Kainrath’s acting history included roles in the film Muttertag – Die härtere Komödie (1993) and the series Tatort (1999). In 2000, she performed with The Rounder Girls in the Eurovision Song Contest, where the song “All to You” reached 14th place. In 2002, she was involved in a controversy regarding her gender-neutral interpretation of the Austrian national anthem. Her recording career included collaborations with Joe Zawinul and Gloria Gaynor, and the albums Wein, Weib und Gesang (2008) and I got rhythm - wosbrauchimea? (2009). Subsequent releases included Im Woid (2019) and Wia a rode Rosn (2021). Kainrath also performed as part of the ensemble Freihaus 4 and finished fourth in the 2009 season of Dancing Stars.
