Lutz Jahoda, born on June 18, 1927, in Brno, Czechoslovakia, was a German singer and actor. He began his career with small roles at the Kammerspiele in Brünn before moving to Vienna after World War II. His first notable role came in 1947 when he played leading parts in operettas at the Theater der Altmark in Stendal. Jahoda's music career started with involvement in television and radio productions for the Mitteldeutschen Rundfunk (Central German Broadcasting). He released several EPs including Tiroler Bua (1957) and Servus Wien (1961), as well as albums like Zu Gast Bei Lutz Jahoda (1963). Notable singles include "Der Schmied Von Oberammergau" (1957) and "Ewig Junges Wien" (1961). He also appeared in films such as The Bewitched Fishing Village (1961), and hosted television shows like Mit Lutz und Liebe. Jahoda's career spanned decades, with significant achievements including his role as Intendanzhauptmann Leopold von Vrbata in the Fernsehdreiteiler Abschied Vom Frieden (1976).
