Peha, a Slovak pop rock band from Prešov, was formed in 1997 when former members of IMT Smile, Katarína Knechtová and Martin Migaš, joined with Karol Sivák, Marek Belanský, and Juraj Ondko. Their debut album Niečo sa chystá was released in 1999, followed by Krajinou (2001), Experiment (2003), and Deň medzi nedeľou a pondelkom (2005). Peha gained significant recognition with their hit song "Spomaľ", which won the Aurel Award for Best Song in 2006. In 2008, Peha disbanded following Knechtová's departure to pursue a solo career. They reformed briefly in 2011 with Romana Hlobeňová as the new vocalist but later distanced themselves from her. The band regrouped again in 2018 with Karmen Pál-Baláž on vocals, known then as Peha & Karmen Pál-Baláž, before splitting again in 2019.
