Guy Blakeslee is an American musician and singer-songwriter born on 29 April 1981 in Baltimore. He achieved professional recognition as a member of the group The Convocation Of... before establishing a solo career under the moniker Entrance. Based in Chicago, he performed at The Hideout and signed with Tiger Style Records. His recording career includes the debut studio album The Kingdom of Heaven Must be Taken by Storm (2003) and the studio recording Wandering Stranger (2004). He performed alongside artists including Sonic Youth, Devendra Banhart, and Cat Power. His discography includes the studio recordings Prayer of Death (2006), The Entrance Band (2009), Face the Sun (2013), and Book of Changes (2017). In 2017, he issued the single “Not Gonna Say Your Name”.
