Dorit Gäbler, born on January 9, 1943, in Plauen, Germany, is a singer and actress known for her contributions to jazz and pop music. She studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in East Berlin from 1963 to 1966. Gäbler's early career included roles such as Elisa in a performance of My Fair Lady and performances at the Dresden State Theater from 1968 to 1978. Her music career began with her debut album, Dorit Gäbler, released in 1979. She continued to release albums, including Das ist mein Café (This is my Café ) in 1988 and Starke Frauen (Strong Women) in 2009.
