Kevin Crawford, born on December 6, 1967, in Birmingham, England, is an Irish flute, tin whistle, low whistle and bodhrán player. Born to Irish parents from Milltown Malbay, County Clare, he moved to West Clare to immerse himself in traditional Irish music. Crawford began his career in the late 1980s with the English band Long Acre. He then released a CD with Grianán and joined Moving Cloud in 1993, recording two albums. He became a member of Lúnasa in 1997, replacing Michael McGoldrick. With Lúnasa, Crawford recorded several albums including Otherworld (1999) and The Merry Sisters of Fate (2001). He also released solo albums such as 'D' Flute Album (1995), In Good Company (2001), Carrying the Tune (2012), and The Drunken Gaugers (2017). Crawford has toured extensively, including performances with Martin Hayes and John Doyle as The Teetotallers.
