Knifeworld, a British-based psychedelic rock band, was originally formed as a solo project by Kavus Torabi before becoming a full band in the summer of 2009. Born in Tehran before moving to England as an infant, Torabi began his musical career with Die Laughing in Plymouth before gaining public attention as one of the two singing guitarists in Monsoon Bassoon. The project’s debut album, Buried Alone: Tales Of Crushing Defeat, was released in 2009. In 2014, Knifeworld released their second album, The Unravelling, under Inside Out Music.
