La Bullonera, a duo from Aragon, Spain, was initially known as Vientos del Pueblo and became very active during the 1970s. The band, composed of Javier Maestre and Eduardo Paz, gained prominence for their protest songs and folk music interpretations, characterized by ironic and satirical lyrics. Their breakthrough moment came with participation in the 1st Cultural Week of Aragon in 1973, alongside artists like Tomás Bosque, Labordeta, and Joaquín Carbonell. La Bullonera represented Aragón at the Festival of Iberian Peoples in 1976, with José Antonio Labordeta. Their discography includes albums such as La Bullonera (1976), La Bullonera 2 (1977), and Punto (1980). Notable songs include “Ver para Creer”, a tribute to the people and water of Aragón with lyrics by José Antonio Rey del Corral. After disbanding following the release of Punto in 1980, they occasionally reunited for specific performances.
