Milladoiro is a Spanish Celtic music group from Galicia formed in 1978. Founded by Rodrigo Romaní and Antón Seoane, they combine various instruments and sonorities. Their debut album, Milladoiro (1978), received a critics' prize. Members include Xosé V. Ferreirós, Nando Casal, and Moncho García Rei,. Their second album, A Galicia de Maeloc (1979), was the first Galician album released in France. Discography releases include O berro seco (1980), 3 (1982), and Solfafria (1984), which features Paddy Moloney of The Chieftains,,. In 1987, they composed the soundtrack for the film Divinas Palabras (1987). They received the Goya Award (1988) for the music of the film La mitad del cielo (1986) and were honored with the Trasalba Prize in 2006.
