Los Marismeños is a Spanish musical ensemble from Huelva formed in 1965. The group performed Andalusian music, primarily sevillanas, rumbas, and fandangos. The original lineup consisted of Antonio Herrero, Antonio Mendoza, Manolo Millán, and Emilio Losada. The band released its first studio recording, Van llegando las carretas..., in 1967. The ensemble incorporated electric guitars and bass into traditional sevillanas and fandangos. The group performed international tours, including a residency at the Festival de Viña del Mar. Its discography featured the studio recordings Salta la reja almonteño (1981), De ayer y hoy (2010), and Una noche atrevida (2020). The band recorded the singles “La Historia de una amapola” and “Qué Bonita es la marisma”. Member Francisco Alejandre died on May 18, 2007. Juan Alejandre retired in 2009 and Losada retired in 2020. The ensemble continued to release music with varying members.
