Carol Richards, born Carol June Vosburgh on June 6, 1922 in Harvard, Illinois, was an American singer and radio and television performer. She began performing at age four and started her musical career as a vocalist. In 1949, Richards signed with Decca Records, releasing her debut single "I Wish I Had A Wishbone / Silver Dollars Tinkling Down". Her collaboration with Bing Crosby on "Silver Bells" and "Sunshine Cake" became notable highlights of her career. She also provided vocals for several films, including Call Me Madam (1953), where she was the voice double for Vera Ellen. Richards' work extended to television, with appearances on shows like I Love Lucy, Name That Tune, and The Pinky Lee Show. She died of kidney failure on March 16, 2007 in Vero Beach, Florida.
