Das Bierbeben

Das Bierbeben, a German electropunk band, was formed in 2001 as a musical project of the artist collective [sic!] im Namen des Volkes (KiNdV. Founding members included Julia Wilton, Jessica Drosten, Rasmus Engler, Jan Müller, and Thies Mynther. The band's debut release was the EP Die Birne Ist Reif in 2001, featuring cover versions of old punk songs. Their first studio album, No Future No Past, was released in 2004. In 2006, they released their second album, Alles Fällt. Notable singles include "Wir Sind" (2002) and "Mach Deinen Fernseher Kaputt" (2003). The band's style evolved from punk covers to electronic music with political lyrics.
