Ismo Olavi Kallio, born on December 16, 1935, in Turku, Finland, was a singer and actor. He began his artistic career at age ten, performing with a children's theatre in Turku in 1946. In the early 1960s, Kallio started his music career by recording singles such as "Arabi Ahab" and "Seiska". His first EP, Hiihtäjän hyräily, was released in 2010. Throughout his career, he collaborated with various artists and appeared in numerous films and television series. Kallio received the Ida Aalberg Award in 1983 and the Pro Finlandia Medal in 1999 for his contributions to Finnish arts. He passed away on February 2, 2019, at the age of 83.
