Marion Evi Rung, born on December 7, 1945, in Helsinki, Finland, is a Finnish pop singer. She began her career in 1961 when she placed second in a Finnish song contest, which led to the release of her first single, "Brigitte Bardot" (1961). In 1962 and 1973, Rung represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest, achieving notable success with her 1973 entry "Tom Tom Tom" (1973), which secured Finland's second-best result until 2006 by finishing at number 6. Throughout the 1970s, she gained popularity in Germany and released several successful albums including Tom Tom Tom (1973) and Lauluja sinusta (1974). Rung also won the Grand Prix of the Sopot International Song Festival in 1974.
