Die Kleine Tierschau was a German musical cabaret group formed in 1981 in Heubach by Michael Gaedt, Ernst Mantel, and Michael Schulig. Initially street performers, the trio gained national prominence for their eccentric use of diverse instruments and elaborate props, which led to a breakthrough appearance on Alfred Biolek's television program, Showbühne. Their musical discography was characterized by humorous and satirical works, such as the albums Rummel um die Kleine Tierschau, released in 1993, and Die Kleine Tierschau singt ihre schönsten Lieder, released in 1996. In 1989, the Ravensburger Kupferle Award honored the group's musical contributions. With the departure of Mantel in 2009, the remaining members continued under the moniker Onkel Rock’n’Roll before the ensemble concluded its career with final performances in 2016.
