Benny Greb, born Benjamin Greb on June 13, 1980, in Augsburg, Germany, is a drummer and composer known for his work in jazz rock. Greb began playing drums at age six and later studied music in Dinkelsbühl and Hamburg.In the mid-1990s, Greb was part of the locally successful band Rubber Chicken. His professional career advanced after moving to Hamburg, where he supported artists like Stoppok and Mark Forster. Greb's debut solo album, Grebfruit, was released in 2005, followed by Brass Band in 2009. He has also developed his own educational system, releasing instructional DVDs such as The Language of Drumming (2009).
