Carlos Segarra Sánchez, born on August 6, 1961, in Barcelona, Spain, is a singer, composer, and guitarist known for his contributions to rock music. In the late 1970s, Carlos Segarra formed his first band with Loquillo called Teddy Loquillo y sus Amigos (Teddy Loquillo and Friends), which had limited success. He later joined "Correo Viejo" as a vocalist and bassist in 1978. In 1979, Carlos Segarra founded the band Los Rebeldes with Moisés Sorolla and Aurelio Morata, gaining national recognition through appearances on television programs such as La edad de oro. The band's rockabilly style became a significant part of the Spanish music scene during the movida madrileña, a cultural and musical movement in Madrid during the late 1970s and 1980s. In 2013, Segarra participated in the musical Escuela de calor, which featured songs from the movida madrileña era. Throughout his career, he collaborated with notable artists like Jaime Urrutia and El Canto del Loco.
