Gloria Scott is an American soul singer. At age 17, she released her first recording, "I Taught Him" with Gloria Scott and the Tonettes, produced by Sylvester Stewart, better known as Sly Stone. She later joined The Ikettes in 1965 and also worked as a background singer for Mary Wilson of The Supremes. In 1972, she signed a seven-year contract with Barry White, who produced her debut album What Am I Gonna Do (1974). Her single "Just as Long as We're Together (In My Life There Will Never Be Another)" reached number 16 on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart and was featured on Soul Train. Scott has performed annually at The Baltic Soul Weekender in Germany since 2008 and released her second album So Wonderful in 2022.
