Iveta Bartosova, born on April 8, 1966, in Celadna, Czech Republic, was a singer, actress, and celebrity. She began her musical career in 1982 with the band Dianthus and gained recognition after winning a music competition in Jihlava in 1983. Her breakthrough came with her first solo album I.B., released in 1987 under Supraphon. Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Bartosova collaborated with notable Czech musicians such as František Janeček and Ladislav Štaidl, releasing several successful albums, including Blízko nás (1989) and Natur (1991). She won the Zlatý slavík award for best female vocalist in 1986, 1990, and 1991. Bartosova also ventured into acting, starring in films like Svatba upírů (1993) and musical productions such as Dracula. She passed away on April 29, 2014.
