Lower Class Brats, an American street punk band, was founded in Austin, Texas, in 1995 by Bones, Marty Volume, Rick Brat, and Rob Brat. Their debut EP, Who Writes Your Rules..., was released in 1995, followed by their first full-length album, Rather Be Hated Than Ignored, in 1997. The band's lineup changed over the years, including the death of founding member Rick Brat in 2020. Notable releases include albums like The Plot Sickens (2000) and A Class Of Our Own (2003), as well as singles "Modern Day Ripper / We Can't Be Beaten" (1997) and "Glam Bastard" (1999). Lower Class Brats continued to release music into the 2000s, with albums like The New Seditionaries (2006) and Rock 'N' Roll Street Noize EP (2012), blending punk, Oi!, 70s glam, and rock and roll.
