Eve Beglarian, born on July 22, 1958 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is an American composer, performer and audio producer. The daughter of composer Grant Beglarian, she studied at Princeton University and Columbia University. Her early works included commissions from various ensembles such as the Los Angeles Master Chorale and the American Composers Orchestra. In 1998, she released her debut album Overstepping. Among her major works are "The Man in the Black Suit" (1999–2008) based on Stephen King's work and the multimedia project A Book of Days (conceived in 2001, incorporating material from 1984). She has collaborated with notable figures such as Lee Breuer, Grethe Barrett Holby, and Chen Shi-Zheng. Her compositions span various genres, including classical music and electronic music, showcasing her versatility and innovation in the field.
