Patrik Fitzgerald, born Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald on March 19, 1956, in Stratford, East London, was a British singer-songwriter. He started his music career during the punk rock movement in 1977 after briefly working as an actor. His early recordings included Safety-Pin Stuck in My Heart, released by Small Wonder Records in 1977. In 1979, Polydor Records signed Fitzgerald, releasing his first LP, Grubby Stories. Notable singles from this period include "All Sewn Up" and "Improve Myself". After being dropped by Polydor, he continued with solo acoustic concerts and released Gifts and Telegrams in 1982.
