Canto dos Malditos na Terra do Nunca, also known as CMTN, a Brazilian alternative rock band, was formed in 2003. The group, led by vocalist Andréa Martins, began their journey with two EPs and gained initial success opening for Placebo and appearing on MTV Brasil's Banda Antes. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2006 via Warner Music, which featured the hit single "Olha Minha Cara", receiving heavy rotation on MTV Brasil, and earned them a Best New Artist nomination for 2006. In January 2007, they embarked on a virtual tour and performed at Festival de Verão de Salvador. Despite their success, the band disbanded in 2007 due to relocation challenges but reunited in 2012 for a concert and subsequent tour titled O Que Te Faz Voltar.
