Born in Hamburg, Germany, Holger Behn developed a passion for music at an early age. He turned to production mainly out of curiosity, wishing above all to understand the process of making the records he began to distribute as a DJ. The man who now calls himself Hosh joins Solomun, then his roommate, and Adriano Trolio, in the adventure of the house and electro label Diynamic, founded in 2006 in Hamburg. He went on to become one of the main players on the German underground scene, notably with the release of the Oelkersallee and White Elephant EPs in 2006 and 2007. Much in demand elsewhere, he successfully pursued his solo adventure with the album Connecting The Dots, considered by many to be a visionary underground house record. A regular at Ibiza clubs, where he performs weekly, he broke into the charts in 2010 with his Cash The Chord EP. Success followed success until 2017, when he released his latest effort for Diynamic, Karma EP, which was a convincing success on Beatport. Hosh opened a new chapter in 2017 by creating his own label, Fryhide, which he inaugurated with the album Stories From Sa Talaia, which he offered as a download to his fans. He went on to collaborate with GHEIST, Tim Engelhardt, Lehar, Pig & Dan, Karmon, Mia Lee, Sono, Musumeci & Johannes Brecht, and paved the way for other artists, such as Artbat, Tone Depth, Groj, 1979. Now a fixture on the underground house scene, Hosh teams up with 1979 and Jalja in late 2019 on the catchy "Midnight (The Hanging Tree)", which quickly becomes #1 on Beatport playlists.
