Uncle Ho, a German school band from Wuppertal, was formed in 1994 by Julian Hanebeck and Jens Schmidt. They released their debut album, Tilt, under the name Uncle Ho Deflowers Lunch via Subway Records. Their breakthrough came with Show Them What You Are Made Of, released by Sony/Columbia Records in 2000, featuring singles "Come On, Come Clean" and "I Don’t Care If You Like Me". In 2003, they produced their fourth album, Everything Must Be Destroyed, before announcing their dissolution. After a hiatus, Uncle Ho returned in 2010 with new music and performances, including the single "Terror Takes Shape" released under Smarten-Up in 2012. Their final release was the EP Futura Octopus, issued via Die, Spotify! Records in 2022.
