Risa Tachibana, born as 立花理佐 on October 19, 1971, in Nishinari-ku, Osaka, Japan, is a Japanese idol singer. She debuted as an idol in 1987 with the single "疑問" and quickly gained popularity. Her first album, 15才神話, was released on August 5, 1987, followed by her second album, 初恋神話, on December 16 of the same year. Tachibana's music career spanned several years, during which she released notable songs such as "大人はわかってくれない" and "キミはどんとくらい". In 1988, she was featured in a Konami game for the Famicom Disk System titled Risa no Yōsei Densetsu, where she also performed the theme song. Her subsequent albums included Wooh (1988) and "HA・JI・MA・RI" (1989). Tachibana continued to release music under Toshiba EMI until 1989, with "Do You Do You?" marking her move to Bandai Music. After a hiatus, she returned in 2001 with the single "ゴメンね 勝手に決めちゃって", produced by Tsunku.
