De Familich is a German Kölsch-Folk ensemble formed in 2005 in Cologne by Wolfgang Anton and Volker Becker. The group performed traditional music and original compositions in the Cologne dialect. In 2008, the band released its debut studio recording, Un mer singe all die Leeder, through the Rhingtön label. The ensemble performed at the Lanxess Arena and the Millowitsch-Theater. In 2009, the group released the recording “Mir sin stark” as part of a benefit project for victims of the Cologne City Archive collapse. Its discography featured the studio recordings Fäähnwih (2009), Klein Stöck vun Kölle (2011), and Kölsche Mädche künne bütze (2012). Anton died in December 2023 at the age of 69.
