Radio Moscow, a blues rock band from Story City, Iowa, was formed in 2003 by Parker Griggs. Before forming Radio Moscow, Griggs released material under the alias Garbage Composal. The band's breakthrough came when Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys helped them sign with Alive Naturalsound Records. Their debut album, Radio Moscow, was produced by Auerbach and released in February 2007. Following this, the band released several albums, including Brain Cycles (2009), The Great Escape of Leslie Magnafuzz (2011), and Magical Dirt ( 2014). In January 2017, Radio Moscow signed with Century Media Records and released their fifth studio album, New Beginnings, in September. The band's first live album, Live! In California, was released in 2016. Throughout their career, Radio Moscow has toured extensively and is known for their powerful blues rock sound, often compared to classic bands of the 1960s and 1970s.
