Beppo Küster is a German Schlager singer, actor, and moderator from Flensburg, born on August 23, 1950. He grew up in Cottbus, where he received violin instruction from his father beginning in 1961. Between 1972 and 1975, Küster worked as a mathematics and chemistry teacher before transitioning to a career as a “Musikalhumorist” in 1977. He made his television debut in 1979 on the program Da liegt Musike drin. In 1983, Küster recorded the hit song “Absolute Stille”. He hosted his own television program, Beppos Partyshow, in 1985. During the 1980s, he hosted the variety show Ein Kessel Buntes in April 1986 and June 1989. Following German reunification, Küster worked as a freelance television producer and moderator for stations including ORB, Puls-TV, and FAB. In 2019, he performed a symbolic protest in Dresden regarding euthanasia laws. Küster resides in Grünheide, near Berlin.
