Jack Poels is a Dutch singer, guitarist, and harmonica player. He is best known as the frontman of the band Rowwen Hèze. His work blends folk, Tejano, and accordion music. In addition to music, Poels is a painter and has contributed visual artwork to his albums. He has also collaborated on side projects such as Holland America Lijn and the music collective Herberg de Troost. On April 27, 2007, he was awarded the Order of Orange-Nassau, and a Dutch train was named in his honor. Since 2009, he has published biweekly poems in Dagblad de Limburger, some of which have been adapted into music by Herberg de Troost.
