Feindflug, a German electro-industrial band, was founded in 1995 by DJ Felix and DJ Banane. The band's music is entirely instrumental, with vocals limited to samples from movies dubbed in German or excerpts of Adolf Hitler or Klaus Kinski. Their debut release, "I. / St. G. 3", was issued on the radical right-wing VAWS label in 1998. Subsequent releases included albums such as Hirnschlacht (2002) and Volk und Armee... (2005), all released under Black Rain. Feindflug's first official performance took place at the 8th Wave-Gotik-Treffen music festival in Leipzig, Germany, in 1999. They continued to perform at notable festivals including the E-tropolis in Berlin in 2010 and the Amphi Festival in Köln in 2011. The band's controversial themes and imagery have led to associations with the German Neo-Nazi scene, which they deny, stating their music is a reflection of historical issues rather than support for them.
