Skyclad, a British heavy metal band, was formed in 1990 by Martin Walkyier and Steve Ramsey. They signed with Noise International and released their debut album, The Wayward Sons of Mother Earth, in 1991. Early releases included the EP Tracks from the Wilderness (1992) and albums such as A Burnt Offering for the Bone Idol (1992), Jonah's Ark (1993). Notable songs include "Thinking Allowed" (1993) and "Swords of a Thousand Men" (2001). Walkyier left in 2001, but the band continued with new members. They released albums such as No Daylights Nor Heeltaps (2002), A Semblance of Normality (2004), and In The... All Together (2009). In 2017, they released Forward Into The Past.
