Litmus Green, an American hardcore punk band from Southern California, was formed in 1991. The group emerged from the remnants of Media Children, with members Rev. Sean, Ed, and Rick, along with friend/roadie Mateo. Their initial releases included the single "Mother-Fuckin' Messiah" (1992) and the demo Hulk Smash! (1994). Litmus Green gained traction with their debut album Circle That A! (1995), followed by It Must Suck to Be You (1998) and Cockring (1999). The band was featured in the award-winning documentary The Decline of Western Civilization III. Litmus Green played what was thought would be the last show on October 26, 2002. They reunited from 2009 to 2017 and again in 2022 with new member Adam V on bass. The band released the album More than Animals in 2015.
