Amanat Ali Khan, born in 1922 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India, was a Pakistani classical vocalist and ghazal singer from the Patiala gharana tradition. He trained under his father, Ustad Akhtar Hussain Khan, and migrated to Pakistan after the partition of India in 1947. Amanat Ali Khan and his brother Fateh Ali Khan debuted publicly in 1945 in Lahore and gained recognition at the All Bengal Music Conference in Kolkata in 1949. They performed extensively on PTV and Radio Pakistan, known for their classical and ghazal formats. Some of his popular songs include "Mora Jiya Na Lage" and "Kab Aaoge Tum Aaoge." He received the Pride of Performance award from the President of Pakistan in 1969. Amanat Ali Khan died on September 18, 1974, at the age of 52 due to a ruptured appendix.
