Shaukat Ali Khan, born May 3, 1944, in Punjab, Pakistan, was a Pakistani folk singer. He began his career in the 1960s, supported by his elder brother Inayat Ali Khan. Shaukat Ali's breakthrough came with his role as a playback singer in the Punjabi film Tees Maar Khan (1963). He performed ghazals and Punjabi folk songs, gaining popularity in both Pakistani and Indian Punjab. His 2000 song "Kadi Te Hass Bol Vey" was notably featured in the 2009 Indian movie Love Aaj Kal. Shaukat Ali received several awards, including the Voice of Punjab award in 1976 and the highest Pakistani civilian Presidential award Pride of Performance in 1990. He died on April 2, 2021, at Lahore due to liver failure.
