I Gufi are an Italian musical and comedy ensemble from Milan, formed between 1963 and 1964. The members are Roberto Brivio, Gianni Magni, Lino Patruno, and Nanni Svampa. The group performed a repertoire of comical sketches and satirical songs. In 1965, the ensemble released the albums Milano canta and I Gufi cantano due secoli di resistenza. The group performed the show Il teatrino dei Gufi in 1966 and appeared on RAI television programs. Their discography includes the song “Sant’Antonio allu desertu” and the albums Non so non ho visto se c'ero dormivo (1967) and Non spingete, scappiamo anche noi (1969). Following the album La Balilla in 1971, the ensemble became inactive. Magni, Svampa, Patruno, and Brivio pursued solo projects in comedy, jazz, and theater. The group resumed activity in 1981 for the television series I Gufi a colori. Magni died in 1992, Svampa died in 2017, and Brivio died in 2021.
