Ezginin Günlüğü, a Turkish musical group, was formed in 1982 in Istanbul by Emin İgüs, Hakan Yılmaz, Şebnem Başar, Tugay Başar, and Vedat Verter. The band's first concert took place in 1983, followed by the release of their debut album Seni Düşünmek in 1985. Personal disagreements led to the original group disbanding in 1990. Nadir Göktürk continued performing under the same name with new members Hüsnü Arkan and Fatih Saçlı, releasing İstavrit in 1993. The band's popularity surged with the release of Oyun in 1995. Their music, rooted in Anatolian folk with contemporary interpretations, often featured well-known poems and political allusions. Notable albums include Ebruli (1996), Hürriyete Doğru (1997), and Rüya (2000). The band's discography spans over three decades, including albums like Dargın mıyız? (2005) and Çeyrek (2007), a tribute album featuring various Turkish artists.
