Henri Marcel Thielemans (1912–2003) was a Belgian jazz and light music singer, trombonist, and orchestra leader from Schaerbeek. After studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, he performed with Gus Deloof before joining the orchestra The Ramblers in 1933 under Theo Uden Masman. Thielemans performed vocal duties for dozens of popular tracks, particularly French chansons, and remained with the group until its dissolution in 1964. During this period, he also participated in the Nationaal Songfestival in 1957 and 1960. In 1974, Thielemans rejoined the reconstituted The Ramblers under Jack Bulterman. Following Bulterman’s death in 1978, he served as the group's leader until his retirement in 1998. His discography includes the albums The Ramblers & Jack Bulterman (1978) and Vaarwel en adieu (1983). Thielemans died in Hilversum on May 15, 2003.
