Christiane Rösinger was born on January 6, 1961, in Rastatt, Germany, and is a musician, author, and journalist. She moved to West Berlin in 1985 to study General and Comparative Literature at the Peter-Szondi-Institut. In 1988, she co-founded the band Lassie Singers with Almut Klotz and Funny van Dannen. The group released several albums before disbanding in 1998. That same year, Rösinger founded Flittchen Records and started the band Britta, which included Britta Neander and Julie Miess. In 2010, she released her first solo album, Songs of L. and Hate, followed by Lieder ohne Leiden in 2017. Both albums featured arrangements by Andreas Spechtl of Ja, Panik. Rösinger has also contributed to various musicals and written several books. She was nominated for the Echo-Kritikerpreis in 2011 for the album Songs of L. And Hate.
