Oskorri, a Basque folk music band, was formed in the early 1970s in Spain during the Ez Dok Amairu cultural movement. Their first concert took place in March 1971 at the Universidad de Deusto, with Natxo de Felipe as the sole consistent founding member. The band released their debut album Gabriel Arestiren Oroimenez in 1976, followed by Mosen Bernat Etxepare 1545 in 1977. They gained broader recognition with their first European tour in 1978 and subsequent albums like Plazarik plaza (1980) and Adio Kattalina (1982). Oskorri has released over 30 albums, including notable works like Datorrena Datorrela (1989) and Desertore (2003).
