Quartet Sine Nomine, a Swiss string quartet formed in 1975, began their career with members Patrick Genet and Olivier Bertholet on violins, Nicolas Pache on viola, and Marc Jaermann on cello. In 1985, Quartet Sine Nomine gained recognition by winning first prize at the Evian Competition in 1985. The quartet collaborated with musicians such as Olivier Triendl. In 2002, Nicolas Pache left, replaced by Hans Egidi.
