Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi, born in Hubli, Karnataka, India, is an Indian classical vocalist of the Kirana gharana singing style. Raised in a musical environment, Mevundi was encouraged by his mother Sudhabai, who had a fondness for singing Purandara Dasa kritis. He is an A Top graded artist at All India Radio. Mevundi has also contributed to various film soundtracks, including the Kannada movie Kallarali Hoovagi, where he sang "Mysore Desh Amara Desh", and the Marathi film Pushpak Vimaan, featuring "Anandache Dohi" and "Deh Pandurang". His collaborations include works with composer Mahesh Mahadev, such as the devotional song "Giridhar Gopal Shyam" and the Abhang "Dhyan Karu Jata". Mevundi has also composed and performed a tribute to philosopher Satyatma Tirtha.
