Born in France, Al Peco began his rap career in Mali, where he spent his childhood. After returning to France to study economics, Al Peco continued to compose. In 2004, he released Bledhard Concept - Volume 1, which deals extensively with economic and cultural neo-colonization. Colonisazon in 2008 allows him to tackle personal themes with his energetic rap and jerky phrasing.
