Tang Can, born on June 12, 1975, in Lichuan, Hubei, China, is a singer known for her contributions to Chinese music. From an early age, she showed a keen interest in singing and dancing. Tang graduated from the Wuhan Conservatory of Music and began her professional career by joining the "Dongfang" Song and Dance Troupe in 1996. Her breakthrough moment came in 1998 when she performed at the CCTV New Year's Gala. In 1999, she started studying under Jin Tielin to refine her musical skills. On September 13, 2010, she joined the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy Song and Dance Troupe. In 2011, Tang retired from performing due to allegations of corruption.
