Han Lei, born on February 23, 1968, in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China, is a singer known for his contributions to Chinese music. He studied trombone at the Central Conservatory of Music's affiliated college and began his musical career playing in the Inner Mongolia Symphony Orchestra. Han Lei's breakthrough came in July 1991 when he participated in the "Newcomer New Voice" event in Beijing, performing "Love Moth" and marking his debut in Chinese pop music. His career gained significant traction in 1997 with his performance at the CCTV New Year's Gala. In 2001, he sang the theme song for the television series Kangxi Dynasty.
