Pustki, a Polish alternative rock band, was founded in August 1999 in Ostrówek by guitarist Radek Łukasiewicz, drummer Grzegorz Śluz, and vocalist and bassist Janek Piętka. Their debut album Studio Pustki was released in 2001. In 2004, the band released their second studio album, 8 Ohm, featuring Barbara Wrońska as a vocalist for the first time. The third album, Do Mi No, was released in 2006 and included popular songs like "Telefon do przyjaciela" and "Tchu mi brak". In 2008, they released their fourth studio album, Koniec kryzysu, which won 'Album of the Year 2008' by Polskie Radio Program III and Pulp magazine.
